Maurice Blue

Maurice Blue is a seasoned professional in talent acquisition and diversity recruitment, currently serving as the Senior Diversity Recruitment Manager at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) since September 2012. In this role, Maurice manages a team focused on military and diversity hiring initiatives, develops innovative talent acquisition programs, and analyzes recruitment performance measures to enhance processes. Previous experience includes a tenure at the Army National Guard, where Maurice held various leadership positions, including Assistant Director of Recruiting and Command Sergeant Major, overseeing a 30-member recruiting division and successfully implementing performance indicators and veteran employment workshops. Maurice holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from National Louis University. Recognition includes being named WMATA Diversity Recruiter of the Year in 2019 and being featured in "Diversity in Action Magazine."
