Kris Singletary is an accomplished Staff Scientist and Lab Manager at Washington State University Spokane since March 2015. Previously, Kris served as a Medical Writer at ETHOS Health Communications, contributing to both medical affairs and marketing initiatives, and focusing on various therapeutic areas including schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s disease. Kris's academic journey includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, investigating the unfolded protein response in relation to the sleep/wake cycle, and a PhD in Neuroscience with a specialization in Behavioral Neuroendocrinology from the University of Texas at Austin. Earlier research experience includes significant contributions as a Research Assistant III at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Kris utilized advanced techniques in molecular biology to study spermatogenesis. Kris has also engaged in teaching roles, including laboratory instruction and assistance for various psychology and neurobiology courses.
