Siavosh Naji-Talakar

Siavosh Naji-Talakar, MS, PharmD, serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Washington State University Spokane while also holding the role of Graduate Researcher. Research interests include drug metabolizing enzymes, pediatric precision medicine, THC interactions with prescription opioids, and nicotine metabolites. Siavosh has held various roles, such as Academic Tutor, Diversity Coordinator at the Student Diversity Center, and Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens. Previous positions include Regional Student Officer with the Industry Pharmacists Organization and Director of Professional Development for the National Community Oncology Dispensing Association. Siavosh has a strong educational background with degrees from Washington State University and Arizona State University, culminating in a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Molecular Medicine. Additionally, Siavosh has extensive experience in operations management, having significantly expanded a wireless company, and has engaged in research related to vaccine development.
