Luis Gimenez is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and education. Currently serving as a Ski Instructor and High Tech Retiree at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows since January 2018, Luis also holds the position of Encore Fellow Mapping Program Manager at the Washington Trails Association. Previously, Luis has worked as a Senior Advisor in Business Development at Belatrix Software and as a Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation, where major contributions included architecting business client platforms and leading initiatives to enhance developer adoption of Intel graphics. Luis's extensive career at Intel spanned various roles, including managing IT innovation, directing enterprise business computing, and overseeing factory automation during new factory startups. In academia, Luis has taught at UC Davis, focusing on managing information technology for business value. Luis holds an Executive Master's in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and multiple degrees in economics, business administration, and electronics.
