Alaina Maciá

As president and CEO of MTM, Alaina is a leader in the health care and transit industries. Her vision and passion for ensuring community services are accessible without barriers—including health care, job access, and social services—for all persons, including those in need, is what continues to drive MTM forward. Since 2005, she has overseen MTM’s growth from $30 million in annual revenue to $600 million. MTM’s staff of nearly 2,000 employees provides more than 20 million trips per year in 31 states. She is leading the transportation industry to be focused on a sustainable future with a reduction in climate impact.

She is actively involved in the St. Louis community as chair of the Washington University Institute of Public Health National Council; as a member of the St. Louis Chapter of YPO, the St. Louis Regional Business Council, and the MICDS Board of Trustees; and she serves on the Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Alaina also served as an advisor to the Public Health Working Group in the university’s 2021 strategic planning process.

Alaina holds both a BS and an MBA from Washington University.
