Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson serves as the Senior Regional Director of Advancement for the Greater New York Region at Washington University in St. Louis since June 2018, previously holding the position of Regional Director of Advancement. Prior to this role, Emily was the Director of Development at the St. Louis Sports Commission from August 2011 to June 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing development efforts and managing various major sporting events. Additional experience includes positions as Account Executive for Learfield Sports, Trade Marketing Territory Manager at RJ Reynolds, and Assistant of Event Presentation & Production for the Kansas City Royals. Emily began a career in community service as a Corps Member with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Missouri Western State University in 2008.
