Jeff joined Carson Valley Medical Center in June of 2018. He got his start in healthcare serving as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy from 1993 to 2000 and was a recipient of the Sailor of the Year award during that time. Since then, he has worked in a variety of healthcare administrative roles ranging from director of outpatient services, director of radiology, hospital administrator and Chief Executive Officer.
He received his Bachelor's of Health Sciences degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2001 and his Master's of Health Administration from Montana State University in 2006. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and fellow of Medical Group Management Association.
Jeff is committed to serving the community and is an active board member of the Business Council of Douglas County, and has also served as board member on local Chamber of Commerce organizations, state healthcare executive networks, and was a Governor’s appointee of the Alaska State Trauma Review Committee.
Dedicated to the advancement of rural healthcare and healthcare improvement, Jeff is a certified instructor in Toyota Production Systems for Healthcare and is involved in workforce development and leadership development programs.
