Aaron Berkholz is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering supervision. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Engineering and Senior Project Manager - Design & Construction at Washtenaw County Road Commission since October 2018, Aaron previously held positions at OHM Advisors as a Project Manager and Barrett Paving Materials as a Project Superintendent. Aaron's earlier tenure at Washtenaw County Road Commission from November 2003 to April 2014 included roles as Superintendent of Maintenance and Construction Engineering Supervisor, showcasing expertise in team leadership, project coordination, and emergency response management. A graduate of the University of Michigan College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Aaron has demonstrated a strong ability to oversee complex projects and ensure their successful execution.
Washtenaw County Road Commission
The Washtenaw County Road Commission is responsible for maintaining a road system that is reasonably safe and convenient to the traveling public. The agency is governed by a five-member Board of County Road Commissioners. Duties of the agency include winter maintenance, road and bridge construction, road repair & maintenance, signal and sign maintenance and ditch & drainage maintenance.
