Fon Phyllis MD, MSc

Fon Phyllis MD, MSc has worked in the medical field since 2015. Fon began as a House Officer at Regional Hospital Limbe in 2015. In 2017, they were a Medical Doctor at Banso Baptist Hospital. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a General Practitioner at Regional hospital Bamenda and a Field Medical Doctor at Reach Out Development NGO. Since 2020, they have been a Medical Doctor at Regional Hospital Limbe and WASPITO.

Fon Phyllis MD, MSc has a well-rounded education history. Fon obtained their Ordinary and Advanced Level Certificates from Saker Baptist College Limbe, Cameroon between 2003 and 2010. Fon then went on to receive their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Buea between 2010 and 2017. In 2019, they obtained a PGDIP in Paediatric Nutrition from Boston University School of Medicine. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Zambia, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including PrEP Training for Providers in clinical settings from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2022, Covid 19: Tackling the Novel Coronavirus from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London in 2020, Colposcopy and LEEP from the American Society of Family Physicians in 2019, and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics from the American Society of Family Physicians in 2018.
