Kelly Rooney

As Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer for WM, Kelly Rooney is responsible for leading the development and implementation of WM’s overall employee experience and operational effectiveness strategy, with a focus on building organizational health and capability, developing talent, and strengthening employee relations. She is a member of the Company’s senior leadership team and reports to Jim Fish, President and Chief Executive Officer. Rooney has held several positions during her tenure with the company including Kelly’s prior roles at WM including Area General Manager and Area Director of Collection Operations for the Heartland Area. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Roanoke College, a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, and a certificate in strategic planning from the Wharton School of Business.
