Sophie K is an experienced music journalist and social media consultant with a diverse background in various media roles. Currently serving as a music journalist for Wasted Talent and contributing to Mixmag, Kerrang!, and The Face since November 2019, Sophie also works with Bauer Media Group as a social team consultant focusing on YouTube strategy, and has taken on freelance roles as a Kerrang! Radio breakfast presenter and BBC Radio 1 cover presenter. With a strong creative production background from Live and Wired, Sophie specializes in social media strategy, content creation, and talent management, having collaborated with notable clients such as Primark and Red Bull. Previous experience includes presenting for Alternative Press Magazine and working as head of social content for The Noise Cartel, alongside a foundational career producing video content for prominent music publications like NME and Classic Rock Magazine. Sophie holds a 2:1 degree in Media and Performance from The University of Salford.
