Erika Naegeli

Erika Naegeli serves as Chief of Staff at WasteFuel, a sustainable fuels company focused on converting waste into green methanol for maritime shipping, since August 2023. Prior to this role, Erika worked at APCO Worldwide as a Senior Consultant in International Public Affairs, providing strategic communications for clients in various sectors from May 2021 to August 2023. Erika's earlier experience includes roles as Media Relations Associate and Research Assistant at The Washington Institute For Near East Policy, where responsibilities involved managing press inquiries and conducting research on Iran-related topics. Erika also interned with the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development, contributing to humanitarian efforts and governance projects. Erika holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Persian from the University of St Andrews.
