Willem du Toit

Willem Du Toit has a diverse background in various industries, including waste management, cyber security, software solutions, and investment. Willem currently serves as the Managing Director for WastePlan & SmartMatta, overseeing on-site recycling and waste management services across South Africa. Previously, they held positions such as Director at Dotcom Cyber Security, Managing Director and Group Commercial Director at Dotcom Software Solutions, and CEO at Integrity Control Systems. Willem also has experience in management consulting and finance as the Managing Director of CipherText and Head of Finance at Communication Genetics. Additionally, they have served as a Director at Digemy and Greenwold Capital, focusing on online learning platforms and private equity investments, respectively. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Sovereign Trust (SA) Limited, specializing in offshore structures and wealth management. Willem began their career as a Director at Waterstreet Group.

Willem Du Toit obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree in Law from Stellenbosch University from 2000 to 2004. In 2009, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning at the University of the Free State, where they studied the Financial Planning Environment, Personal & Corporate Financial Planning. Continuing their education, they attended Stellenbosch Business School in 2010, obtaining a degree in Corporate Financial Planning. In March 2010, Willem Du Toit obtained the Certified Financial Planner® certification from the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa.
