Mark Newsome

Mark Newsome is a seasoned software quality testing professional with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Quality Tester at Watchfire Signs since October 2011, Mark specializes in testing web and desktop software, including embedded sign controllers, and manages the creation of automated tests. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where Mark designed test plans for significant projects, and Staff System Engineer at Lockheed Martin, focusing on integration and testing for advanced combat systems. Mark began a career in software engineering at Raytheon, specializing in software deployment and field support. Mark holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry University and has pursued additional education at Anne Arundel Community College and Carroll Community College.
