Alfonso Velasco

Alfonso Velasco has extensive experience in engineering and management within the technology sector, currently serving as the Director of Global Engineering Strategy and previously as the Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager at WatchGuard Technologies since June 2020. Prior to this role, Alfonso held multiple leadership positions at Panda Security from April 2004 to June 2020, culminating as Technical Team Lead and overseeing various engineering teams. Earlier in their career, Alfonso worked as a System Designer at Philips for three years. Academically, Alfonso holds a Business Expert degree in Business Administration and Management from thePower (2018) and a Master's MBA in New Technologies from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2013-2017), alongside a degree from Universidad Pública de Navarra (1994-2000).
