Bethany Christie

Bethany Christie is an experienced Italian-English translator currently working at Watching America since April 2020. In addition to this role, Bethany has held multiple positions at the University of Delaware, including World Scholars Program Guide, Student Body Representative for the Department of Languages Undergraduate Studies Committee, Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, and Office Assistant at the University Writing Centers. As an active participant in university life, Bethany served as the President of the Italian Club and resided in the International House Living Learning Community. Previous experience includes interpreting for a contract position in February 2021, various roles at Stew Leonard's Farm Fresh Food, including Cashier and Kids Birthday Host, as well as positions at South Oxford Management and Lake Compounce Lp. Bethany holds a Bachelor's degree in Honors Three Languages, majoring in Italian, German, and Russian from the University of Delaware, and has furthered language studies at Middlebury Language Schools and John Cabot University. A high school diploma was obtained from Oxford High School in 2018.
