Akhil Kumar Chourey

Akhil Kumar Chourey has a diverse work experience in the finance and administration field. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Account and Administration Officer at Bhartiya Gramin Mahila Sangh for two years. Akhil Kumar then joined Gramin Vikas Trust in 2010 as a Finance Executive and remained there until 2016. During this time, they gained experience in financial management and executive-level decision-making. In 2016, they joined Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) as a Finance Officer, where they handled multiple grants and collaborated with non-finance teams to provide financial orientation. In 2018, they started working as a Finance and Administration Officer at CARE, focusing on USAID fund management, reporting, and audit. Lastly, in 2021, Chourey joined WaterAid as an Accounts Coordinator, overseeing various funds and managing donor reporting. Akhil Kumar'sexpertise lies in fund management, budget monitoring, procurement, and audit.

Akhil Kumar Chourey pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University, starting in 2010 and completing it in 2016. Currently, they are enrolled at Mewar University, where they are pursuing an Executive MBA with a specialization in Finance Management, expected to be completed by 2022.
