Marc-Alain Behar

Marc-Alain serves as Nexamp’s VP of Utility-scale solar, providing the vision and leadership needed to drive Company growth in this market segment. His team is responsible for in-house development and acquisitions of transmission connected solar and storage projects.

Previously, Marc-Alain started and led the utility-scale solar business of ENGIE in North America. Spurring a period of rapid growth, he successfully contracted several hundreds of MW with Fortune 500 customers and was previously a management consultant in Booz Allen’s Energy Practice.

Marc-Alain holds an MBA from INSEAD and MSc. in management from HEC Paris. Throughout his career, Marc-Alain has been instrumental in the development of over 2GW of now operational solar plants across North and South America. He speaks five languages and has lived on four continents.
