Blessing Rundak Oluwatosin

Blessing Rundak Oluwatosin has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Scriptwriter, Marketer, and Associate Producer at RED STAR MEDIA in Abuja. In this role, they were responsible for marketing communications and media services, scriptwriting and editing, and developing TV content in Hausa. Blessing Rundak also assisted in the successful production of a Hausa sitcom and movie.

In 2015, they joined BBC Media Action as an Assistant Producer, where they worked on creating, designing, planning, and producing programs for discussion. Their duties included sourcing resource persons, conducting research, and ensuring accurate and clear content information.

Blessing then transitioned to WaterAid, where they held various roles from 2015 to 2020. Blessing Rundak started as a Communications and Advocacy Assistant, supporting the Governance department in communications, campaigns, and advocacy activities. Blessing Rundak promoted WaterAid's profile through media and exhibition opportunities, led campaigns for key events, and coordinated support to civil society and media networks.

From 2017 to 2019, Blessing worked as a Communications Officer at WaterAid, responsible for implementing the organization's Communication Strategy in Nigeria and ensuring compliance with branding requirements. Blessing Rundak monitored and evaluated communications and media coverage, supported advocacy and influencing efforts, and provided support to the Business Development and Strategic Planning unit.

Blessing Rundak Oluwatosin obtained their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Language Arts (English) from A.B.U Zaria, between 2008 and 2011. In addition to their degree, they also completed the Partnerships in Practice Technical Training program at WaterAid in March 2016. Furthermore, they were a scholarship student in Leadership and Human Capacity Development at CYMMY and Associates in Kwara State, in October 2009.
