Filagot Lemma

Filagot Lemma has a comprehensive work experience spanning over 15 years. Filagot currently works as a People & OD Manager at WaterAid since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Head of Human Resource & Organizational Development at Plan International from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they provided leadership and strategic direction for the HR function in Plan Ethiopia, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and HR policies. From 2012 to 2017, Filagot served as an HR & Admin Manager at TechnoServe, where they provided guidance and leadership for operational functions and implemented HR strategies. Filagot also worked as an HR Manager at Save the Children UK from 2010 to 2012, where they led the HR team, implemented performance management systems, and conducted recruitment and selection. Furthermore, Filagot worked at Agri Service Ethiopia from 2005 to 2010, holding positions such as HR & General Service Unit Head and Acting Director of the Support Service Department. In these roles, they were responsible for strategic planning, restructuring, and managing HR and general service activities.

Filagot Lemma pursued higher education from 1995 to 1997 at Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya. During this period, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics.
