Harinjato Rafaly

Harinjato Rafaly has extensive work experience in varied roles and positions. They started their career as the Department Head of Administrative and Financial Services at WWF Madagascar in 1992. After that, they worked as the Chief Administrative and Financial Officer at FONDS D'INTERVENTION POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT for over a decade. Rafaly then joined AGETIPA - Agence d'Exécution des Travaux d'Intérêt Public et d'Aménagement as an External Manager and Knowledge Management Head. They later served as an Administrative and Financial Assistant at PNUD Madagascar before becoming the Deputy Director at Santé Sud Madagascar.

Continuing their career, Rafaly was a Project Coordinator for ECHO - SAF FJKM, responsible for the AINA Mananjary project. They then became the Director of Finance and IT at WaterAid Madagascar and ultimately progressed to the role of Head of Finance, IT & Operations at WaterAid in 2019.

Harinjato Rafaly completed a Master 2 degree in Management and Pilotage de Projet from Hautes Etudes Chrétiennes en Management et Mathématiques Appliqués in 2005. In 2015, they also earned a Master 2 degree in Management de projet from Hautes Etudes Chrétiennes de Management et de Mathématiques Appliquées (HECMMA). Prior to these degrees, Harinjato Rafaly attained a Maîtrise en Gestion in Marketing from the UNIVERSITE DE MADAGASCAR in 1990, as well as another Maîtrise en Gestion in Marketing from EESDEGS ANTANANARIVO in 1990.
