Jo Connah

Jo Connah has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple organizations. They started their career in 1992 at RBS Insurance as a Customer Relations Manager, where they worked until 2008. During their time at RBS Insurance, Jo gained valuable experience in managing customer relations.

In 2004, Jo joined Churchill Insurance as a Customer Relations Manager, a role they held until 2007. This provided Jo with further expertise in managing customer relations in the insurance industry.

In 2008, Jo worked temporarily in the charity sector with Charity People before joining Youth Music as a PA to the CEO, providing maternity cover. This role allowed Jo to gain experience working in the nonprofit sector.

Since 2009, Jo has been associated with WaterAid, starting as a Volunteer Programme Assistant to the Asia Regional Team and later progressing to the position of Regional Support Officer. In these roles, Jo played a vital role in supporting the Asia Regional Team and WaterAid's country programs in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Pakistan. They provided support in analyzing and providing feedback on planning, monitoring, and evaluation reports, ensuring alignment with the organization's global strategy. This work contributed to providing safe water, effective sanitation, and hygiene education to the poorest communities worldwide.
