Sarah Matthews

Sarah Matthews has a diverse work experience. Sarah started their career as an Intranet Content Coordinator at Countryside Council for Wales in 2002 and held that role for six years. In 2008, they joined the British Antarctic Survey as a Web Content Coordinator, later transitioning to the role of Intranet Manager. At BAS, they played a key role in the redevelopment of the intranet platform and provided support for various business applications. In 2016, Sarah took a career break before joining WaterAid as an Intranet Manager. Sarah is currently working as the Director at Sortition Foundation, a position they have held since March 2017.

Sarah Matthews has a Master's Degree in Librarianship, which they obtained from The University of Sheffield from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from Durham University, where they attended from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, which they obtained from Process Management International (PMI) in March 2023.
