Twaha Mubarak

Twaha Mubarak's work experience includes serving as a Senior Program Manager - Public Health at WaterAid since May 2015. Prior to this role, they worked as a Chief Program Officer - Water, Sanitation and Hygiene at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) from May 2014 to April 2015. Twaha'searlier experience includes working for the Government of Tanzania as a Principal Environmental Health Officer from September 2003 to April 2014.

Twaha Mubarak has a diverse education history encompassing various fields of study. In 2000, they attended Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, where they obtained a Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences. From 2004 to 2004, Twaha Mubarak studied Planning and Management at the Zonal Training Centre in Mtwara, Tanzania. In 2005, they pursued Financial Management for Managers at Mzumbe University. Twaha Mubarak then attended Kampala International University from 2006 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Science and Management. Twaha furthered their education at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) and obtained an Msc degree in Integrated Sanitation Management from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Twaha Mubarak attended the National Institute for Rural Development in Hyderabad, India, specializing in Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Project Management. In 2015, they enrolled in a Project Management course at WaterAid Uganda/United Kingdom, and in 2016, they attended a Behavioral Change Course at WaterAid Ethiopia/United Kingdom.
