Sam Rushton is an experienced professional in the music industry, currently serving as Events & Careers Coordinator at WaterBear | The College of Music since February 2023. Rushton has a diverse background, including roles as Artist/Manager at Orchards since October 2013 and Mentor at Sonic Workshops from November 2020 to October 2023, where mentoring sessions and masterclasses were provided. Previous positions include Client Success Executive at Tailify, A&R Executive at Liberty Music PR, and Freelance Guest at BIMM Institute. Early experience includes being a Radio Producer at Totally Radio and an Assistant at Parr Street Studios, supporting notable producers. Rushton holds a degree in Professional Musicianship from the University of Sussex and has education from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and King David High School Liverpool.
