Shane Neary

Shane Neary is an experienced professional in procurement and contract management, currently serving as Contracts & Cost Intelligence Manager and Asset Upgrades & Renewals Supply Chain Lead at Watercare Services Limited since May 2020, where responsibilities include leading the procurement process for a $3.5B asset upgrades and renewals program. Prior to Watercare, Shane held various roles at Transpower New Zealand Ltd from June 2009 to May 2020, including Supplier Relationships Manager and Performance & Contracts Manager. Early career experiences include positions as a Quantity Surveyor with multiple companies such as ADCO Constructions and McNab. Shane holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Liverpool John Moores University and a National Diploma in Construction Economics from Waterford Institute of Technology, complemented by a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management from CIPS.
