Lara R Nyman

Lara R Nyman has a diverse work experience in scientific roles. Lara R is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Weo since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PepsiCo as a Senior Principal Scientist from May 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Weo, Lara held the position of R&D Manager at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute from January 2013 to May 2021. Lara R started their career with PepsiCo as an Associate Principal Scientist from 2010 to 2012.

Lara R Nyman has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Boston University. Lara R also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Exercise Physiology from Southern Connecticut State University. In addition, Lara has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular and Cellular Physiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Lara R further pursued their studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham as a post-doctoral fellow in the Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Residency Program.
