Dr. Jesus Molina

Dr. Jesus Molina has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Dr. Jesus currently serves as the Director of Industrial IoT at Waterfall Security Solutions Ltd, where they are responsible for implementing business plans, penetrating new markets, and evaluating cyber security requirements for various sectors. Additionally, they protect IT/OT and cloud connectivity for industrial systems.

Prior to their role at Waterfall Security Solutions Ltd, Dr. Molina held the position of Co-Chair in the Security Working Group at the Industrial Internet Consortium since 2015. Dr. Jesus also worked as the CEO of Jadebrain LLC since 2017.

From 2011 to 2017, Dr. Molina worked as a Security Consultant at Jesus Molina Consulting, where they represented Fujitsu Ltd in a leadership position at the Industrial Internet Consortium. In this role, they identified vulnerabilities, recommended corrective measures, and ensured the adequacy of existing information security controls for industrial systems. Dr. Jesus also educated the community through conferences such as BlackHat, Defcon, and IoT World Congress.

Prior to this, Dr. Molina served as a Security Researcher at Fujitsu from 2004 to 2011, where they conducted security research, analysis, and design for hardware and software. Dr. Jesus developed patents on systems and protocols and implemented formal security programs and policies.

Dr. Molina's earlier experiences include serving as Chair and Board Member at Trusted Computing Group from 2007 to 2010, an intern at Fujitsu Labs from 2001 to 2004, and a research intern at the University of Maryland from 2001 to 2003.

Dr. Jesus Molina completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1999. Dr. Jesus went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical engineering at the University of Maryland, from 1999 to 2001. Subsequently, they obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the same university, completing their doctoral studies from 2002 to 2007. Dr. Molina also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland.
