Donal O'Brien

Donal O'Brien holds an MBA and has extensive experience in the manufacturing and quality control sectors. Currently serving as a Quality Control Supervisor at Abbott Vascular since April 2018, Donal also lectures part-time at the Waterford Institute of Technology on topics such as Manufacturing Technology and Lean Manufacturing. Previously, Donal worked as a Senior Production Supervisor at Abbott, Operations Controller at FastForm Medical, Inc., and held various roles at Bausch + Lomb, where responsibilities included managing new product operations and increasing manufacturing capacity significantly. Earlier career experiences include positions at Nypro, Guidant, and Intel, honing skills in production management and process support. Donal's educational background includes a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Limerick and a Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering from Waterford Institute of Technology.
