Gautam Behl

Gautam Behl (MSc. PhD) is a seasoned professional in drug product development and biotechnology, currently serving as a Drug Product Development Manager at Eirgen Pharma since August 2022 and as a Technology Leader at Waterford Institute of Technology since July 2016. Gautam has led research in ocular drug delivery utilizing smart polymeric nanoparticles, focusing on the development of lipid and polymer-based nano-biomaterials. Previous roles include Technology Leader at South East Technological University and Postdoctoral Fellow at Florida A&M University, where projects revolved around smart polymeric and lipid-based materials for cancer drug delivery. With a Ph.D. from Delhi University in Organic Chemistry and proficiency in polymer synthesis techniques, Gautam has significantly advanced controlled drug release systems and formulation processes throughout a distinguished academic and research career.
