Ken Thomas

Head of School, Engineering at Waterford Institute of Technology

Ken Thomas is the current head of school for engineering at the Waterford Institute of Technology. Ken has been in this role since September 2002. Prior to that, they were the head of the Department of Construction and Civil Engineering at CITA. Ken has also been involved with the 'Construction Industry Research & Knowledge (CIRK) Group'.

Ken Thomas has a PhD in Civil Engineering from University College Cork, an MA in Management from the University of Kent, and a BE in Civil Engineering from the National University of Ireland, Galway. Ken also has doctorates in doctor of philosophy from the school of food and nutritional sciences.
