Pat Cluney

Pat Cluney is an experienced professional with a robust background in network engineering and IT support. Currently serving as the Senior Technical Officer for Network Systems at Waterford Institute of Technology since 1999, Pat oversees the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network services across six campuses, leading a team of six and interacting with around 1,000 staff members and 10,000 students. Prior to this role, Pat worked as a Network Systems Support professional at WIT, focusing on network security and monitoring, alongside experience at Siemens SBS Ireland as a Senior Area Engineer, providing general IT maintenance for various clients. Pat holds a degree from Munster Technological University, earned between 2010 and 2015.
