Andy Wellman has extensive experience in education and athletics, currently serving as both a Mathematics Teacher and Basketball Coach at Waterford School District since November 2021. Prior to this role, Andy worked at Dearborn Public Schools from January 2014 to October 2021, where responsibilities included teaching Math and Science, as well as coaching various middle school sports including Girls' Volleyball, Girls' Basketball, Boys' Basketball, and Girls' Track. Additional experience includes serving as Camp Director for Waterford Parks and Recreation and a Student Teacher at Mason Middle School. Andy's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine and multiple degrees in Education from Oakland University, focusing on Math and Science.
