David Levitan

President & Chief Operating Officer at Waterleaf International

David Levitan is the current President & Chief Operating Officer at Waterleaf International. Prior to this, they were the CEO at Source Broadband Services from June 2007 to December 2014. There, they initiated a leveraged buyout to acquire a division of a public company that provided engineering, program management, network construction, maintenance and technical services to telecom operators. David successfully transitioned the 300-employee organization to private ownership in under six weeks, retaining all customers and employees while meeting all service commitments.

Levitan then repositioned the company to high value segments, achieving 20%+ compound growth while doubling EBITDA. David also settled a labor practices class action lawsuit without any findings against the company. Furthermore, they successfully refinanced senior and mezzanine debt to optimize the capital structure, reduce costs and support growth through periods of national economic instability. Finally, they launched and sold a division that provided services to power utility clients.

From August 2004 to February 2007, Levitan served as President of C-COR Network Services. And from January 2015 to December 2018, they were the CEO of SBS Services Corporation dba Tachyon Communications.

David Levitan's educational career consists of completing a BA in Economics and Political Science at Cornell University and an MBA in General Management at Harvard Business School.
