Ryan Chan

Ryan Chan is an emerging robotics engineer currently serving as a Robotics Engineering Intern at Reazon Holdings, Inc. since June 2024. Ryan has extensive experience in various roles, including Mechanical Design Intern at Tesla, Mechanical & Operations Team Member at Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo's Maglev Microrobotics Lab. Key contributions include conducting simulations using ANSYS and MATLAB, creating detailed SolidWorks drawings for the 2022 Mars Rover project, and leading design efforts in the FRC 610 robotics team. Ryan has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Waterloo, with foundational experiences such as participation in SHAD Canada and mentorship of young campers in STEM-related activities.
