Daniel Merchen

Daniel Merchen is an experienced Systems Engineer and multimedia professional with a significant tenure at Watermark Community Church since June 2013. In various roles including Lead Video Production Director and Broadcast Video Systems Engineer, Daniel has focused on the operation and maintenance of broadcast video systems, developing automated workflows for video-on-demand deliverables using Ubuntu/ffmpeg and hardware solutions. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Technical Director at Countryside Church, where streaming services and multi-site strategies were key responsibilities, and as a Graphic Assistant at Black Hills State University, focusing on website branding and video delivery. Daniel holds a degree in Corporate Communication from Black Hills State University, completed in 2013.
