Tim Ruck

Tim Ruck is an accomplished Principal Design Quality Engineer and Principal Software Test Engineer at Waters Corporation, a position held since May 2006. Ruck leads a manual evaluation team for mass spectrometry instrument control and has previously served as Principal Systems Development Engineer, where responsibilities included acting as the product owner for an automated software tool facilitating installation and maintenance of complex analytical instrumentation. Ruck also introduced Instrument Intelligence Ambassadors within the global field service organization and designed logic for diagnostic software as a Senior Systems Development Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Technical Support Specialist, providing global support to Waters Field Service Engineers, and as a Test and Installation Engineer at Hiden Analytical. Ruck holds a Master of Science in Vacuum Technology from The University of Salford and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Sheffield Hallam University.
