Sophia Gannoe

Sophia Gannoe is a Mechanical Engineering student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, expected to graduate in May 2026. Sophia has gained practical experience through a System Engineering Internship at General Dynamics Electric Boat in 2024 and various roles at East Lyme Parks and Recreation, including a promotion to Site Leader for the Youth Summer Camp in 2023, where responsibilities included scheduling, injury management, and communication with parents. Previous experience also includes working as a hostess at Water's Edge Resort & Spa, where customer service and teamwork were key responsibilities, and serving as a Summer Camp Counselor in 2022, coordinating games and schedules for children aged 8-10.
