Sander Mager is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in water management, sustainability, and agricultural innovation. Currently serving as Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board at Unie van Waterschappen and as an Executive Board Member at Waterschap Amstel, Gooi en Vecht, Sander has held significant roles focusing on water quality, sustainability, and climate adaptation. Additional positions include serving as a Commissioner at ACV-groep, a board member at the Louis Bolk Institute, and previous leadership roles at organizations such as the Netherlands Food Partnership, PostHarvest Network, and AgriProFocus. Sander holds a Master of Science in Ecology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and has pursued further education in business and sustainability from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Nyenrode Business University.
