Stefan de Vries

Stefan de Vries is an experienced hydrology advisor and analytical translator currently employed at Waterschap Drents Overijsselse Delta since December 2021. Previously, Stefan worked at Arcadis from March 2016 to November 2021 as a consultant specializing in hydroinformatics and project management, having conducted a graduation research project on asset management implementation at water boards. Earlier experience includes a role as a consultant and data scientist at Avante Consultancy, focusing on a predictive model for damage to rail tracks, and an internship at Irstea in Lyon during their master's studies in Civil Engineering and Management. Stefan's educational background includes a master's degree in Civil Engineering and Management and a pre-master's and master's in Business Administration from the University of Twente, as well as a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
