Irene Kooistra

Irene Kooistra is currently serving as a Junior Adviseur watersystemen at Waterschap Noorderzijlvest since September 2022, where responsibilities include addressing specific inquiries and collaborating on project goals, while supporting various initiatives both internally and externally. Previously, Irene held a research internship at Waterschap Hunze en Aa's from February to July 2021 and completed an internship at Wageningen Marine Research focusing on Kwelder Monitoring in August to November 2019. Irene is pursuing a degree in Kust en Zee Management from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, expected to be completed in February 2023, and has prior education from Ubbo Emmius Stadskanaal from 2012 to 2017.
