Ella McDonald is a skilled professional with a diverse background in film and creative outreach. Currently serving as the Talent, Comms & Outreach Coordinator at Watershed since May 2023, Ella delivers communications and outreach initiatives for BFI NETWORK South West and BFI Film Academy. Previous roles include Junior Producer at Eight Creative Agency and Emerging Creative Assistant at Knowle West Media Centre, where efforts focused on developing a trainee scheme and fostering relationships with creatives in Bristol. Ella's creative talents include writing and directing the poignant dance film "WOUNDS," which addresses domestic emotional abuse, and the short film "One More Fall," highlighting Bristol's female skateboarding community. Ella holds a Film BA in Production and Theory from the University of Westminster, completed in 2021.
