Lee Byron

Product Engineering Lead at Watershed

Lee Byron is the current Product Engineering Lead at Watershed. Prior to this, they were with GraphQL Foundation, Robinhood, and Facebook. Lee has also worked with The New York Times as a Graphics Editor.

Lee Byron started their career with The New York Times as a Graphics Editor in February 2008. Lee then moved to Facebook in September 2008 and worked there till April 2018. During their tenure at Facebook, they served as the Senior Staff Software Engineer. In May 2018, they joined Robinhood and served as the Senior Engineering Manager till July 2022. Lee then moved to their current organization, Watershed, in July 2022.

Lee Byron received a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Product Design from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Computer Interaction.

Their manager is Taylor Francis, Co-Founder. They work with Carlton McMillan - Head of Finance & Internal Operations, Kristin Thayer - Head of Partnerships, and Ellen Moeller - Head of Europe.
