Jeremy Bruner

Jeremy Bruner has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries. Jeremy is currently serving as the Director of Hospitality Accounting at Waterton since May 2022. Prior to this, Jeremy worked as a Controller at the University of Central Arkansas from June 2013 to May 2022, overseeing financial reports and resolving accounting issues. Jeremy also worked as a Senior Corporate Accountant at Ultima Hospitality from May 2012 to May 2013, handling accounting functions for managed hotels. Jeremy gained experience as an Assistant Director of Finance at the Doubletree Hotel & Conference Center from May 2011 to May 2012, where they improved accounting processes. Jeremy served as a Controller at The Stough Group, Inc. from August 2009 to April 2011, managing general ledger activity and financial reporting. Jeremy started their career as an Audit Senior and Audit Staff at Ernst & Young from October 2006 to November 2009, providing audit solutions to clients in the real estate industry. Jeremy also interned at Tyson Foods as a Military Retail Sales & Marketing Intern from May 2002 to August 2003 and at the Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts as a Court Intern from May 2001 to August 2001.

Jeremy Bruner earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) in Accounting from the University of Arkansas from 1999 to 2003. Jeremy then went on to pursue a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) at the University of Arkansas from 2003 to 2004. In terms of certifications, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Arkansas in November 2014. Additionally, Jeremy holds certifications as a Certified Cicerone® from the Cicerone Certification Program, which they obtained in April 2015, and as a Certified Beer Server, which they obtained in August 2014. Jeremy also holds an inactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Illinois obtained in September 2007.
