Andrew Hewitt, PMP, PMI-ACP has over 12 years of experience in various roles in IT project management and support. Currently, they serve as a Senior Project Manager at WatServ, an IT solutions provider focused on cloud technologies and services. In this role, they help clients digitally transform their businesses by planning, migrating, and managing multi-cloud environments. From 2017 to 2020, Andrew served as a Project Manager and Support & Business Analyst at Wittington Investments Ltd. Andrew directed teams for IT and organizational projects, including business continuity, data management, cybersecurity, and software and hardware deployments. Andrew successfully improved business efficiencies, streamlined operational costs, and enhanced security posture through these projects. Their responsibilities also included managing stakeholder relationships and project requirements, creating policy and planning documentation, facilitating user training, budgeting for project and department expenses, managing IT cloud migration and adoption, and vendor management and procurement.

Before Wittington Investments Ltd, Andrew worked as a System Support Consultant at Genieall Corporation from 2015 to 2017. Their role involved IT service delivery and project execution for institutional clients in various industries. Andrew built collaborative relationships with business partners, contributed to driving process and technology solutions, assisted with training client staff and stakeholders, and collaborated with external IT vendors.

Andrew also has experience as a Project Manager at Languages in Motion Ltd. in 2014, an Information Systems Manager at DocuTech Jamaica from 2004 to 2013, a Project Lead at Tech2Go Jamaica from 2009 to 2012, an IT Consultant/Contributing Columnist at Boston Holdings (Publishing) from 2004 to 2009, and an IT Consultant at Brandram-Henderson (WI) Ltd from 2005 to 2008.

Andrew Hewitt, PMP, PMI-ACP has a diverse education history in various fields. In 2013, they obtained a certificate in Project Management from CIES. In the same year, they also completed courses in Technology Entrepreneurship and Crash Course on Creativity from Stanford University, Venture Lab.

In 2015, Andrew obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

In 2018, they completed a course on SharePoint 2016 Site Collections and Site Owner Administration (M55234) from Global Knowledge.

In 2019, Andrew attended a training program on Agile Project Management from the University of Toronto and another course on Introduction to Microsoft Azure for IT Professionals from Global Knowledge.

In 2020, they acquired the PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Andrew also completed various certifications in data analysis and visualization, including Excel Statistics Essential Training, Learning Data Visualization, and Tableau Essential Training, among others.

Recently, in 2021, Andrew completed the Statistics and Data Science MicroMasters program in Data Sciences from MITx Courses and obtained a verified certificate for Machine Learning with Python-From Linear Models to Deep Learning from edX.

Additionally, they hold certifications in other areas, such as AWS Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services, Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco, CIW Web Foundations Associate from CIW, and ITIL Foundation v3.0 from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
