Michelle Zeiger

Michelle Zeiger has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Michelle began their career in 1986 at Sea Ray Boats, where they served as a Human Resources Manager. Michelle played a crucial role in implementing a new employee performance appraisal program.

After Sea Ray Boats, Zeiger joined Textron as a Human Resources Manager in 1997. Michelle successfully supported the management team in employment, compensation, and benefit issues, contributing to a 94% retention rate during a business consolidation and plant closure.

In 2001, Zeiger transitioned to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as a Human Resources Manager. Michelle'sresponsibilities included providing guidance and support to the management team, managing all HR initiatives, and acting as a public relations liaison.

From 2003 to 2005, Zeiger worked at Samaritan’s Purse as an Administrative Assistant, where they were responsible for the start-up, administration, and organization of the Operation Christmas Child Florida Field Office. Michelle effectively utilized organizational, computer, interpersonal, and communication skills to develop a statewide collection network.

Between 2005 and 2011, Zeiger joined the Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church as a Project Manager/Communications Specialist. In this role, they organized resources for various communication initiatives and served as the editor of the 2011 Annual Conference Journal.

In 2012, Zeiger became the Director of Connections & Missions at First United Methodist Church of Lakeland, Florida. Michelle successfully connected people with areas of ministry within and outside the church and managed a bookstore and gift shop.

Zeiger's most recent position was at OneBlood, where they served as a Donor Recruitment Supervisor from 2014 to 2016. Michelle supervised blood donor recruitment in a specific geographic area and ensured the achievement of production goals.

Currently, Zeiger is an Account Manager at Watson Electrical, a position they assumed in November 2020. Additionally, they previously worked as a Service Coordinator at the same company from 2017 to 2020.

Michelle Zeiger received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Rollins College from 1993 to 1995. Michelle then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management & Marketing at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College from 1995 to 1997. Michelle furthered their education by attending Asbury Theological Seminary from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Ministry (MAXM) with a specialization in Leadership.
