Florian Kutzbach

Qualified in England & Wales, Florian’s practice focuses primarily on global energy, natural resources and infrastructure development, project & export financing and M&A, acting for developers, sponsors, governments, ECAs/DFIs/multilaterals and commercial lenders.

Florian has extensive experience in emerging market financings, including many landmark projects, with experience spanning Eastern Europe, the Middle East, South America, Africa and Asia.

Florian has also given external lectures, presentations and seminars, including in Turkey, Nigeria and Ghana and has recently been invited to speak at a conference in Kyiv on Renewable Energy financing in Ukraine and on a panel in Serbia on PPP/infrastructure projects in the region.

Although English law qualified, he has been ranked for the second year running as one of “The Best Lawyers in Germany” in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers in cooperation with business magazine Handelsblatt. Clients also praise Florian as “one of the most well-known English Law advisors in Turkey in infrastructure projects”.
