Jim Winter

Jim Winter has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the media industry. Jim is currently working as the Digital Content Director at WATT Global Media. Prior to this, they served as the Communication Manager at The Galena Territory Association, where they handled all member communication, edited the monthly newspaper, managed social media platforms, and conducted data analysis. Before that, Jim worked as the Digital Content Editor and Assistant City Editor at Telegraph Herald, coordinating news coverage and editing content for digital and print platforms. Jim also served as the Editor at Hometown News Group and News Editor at The Monroe Times. Jim's early career includes roles as an Editor at The Oregon Observer, Editorial Team Leader and Sports Editor at Unified Newspaper Group, and a Freelance Writer at Middleton Times-Tribune.

Jim Winter attended Eisenhower High School from 1989 to 1993, where they pursued a college preparatory curriculum with a focus on English. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Beloit College from 1993 to 1997. At Beloit College, Jim earned a Bachelor's degree with a major in Creative Writing and Journalism.
