Ashleigh Gardner

Ashleigh Gardner is the current Deputy GM of Publishing at Wattpad and has over 10 years of experience in the publishing industry. Ashleigh started their career at Bunch as a Website Editor before moving on to The Dundurn Group as a Web Marketer. At Dundurn, they were responsible for the planning and execution of all social media initiatives, as well as the creation and digital distribution of eBooks. Ashleigh then spent a year at Wattpad WEBTOON Studios before joining Kobo Inc. as Director of Content Management. Ashleigh was with Kobo for three years before returning to Wattpad in their current role.

Ashleigh Gardner began their educational career by obtaining a certificate in publishing from Ryerson University. Ashleigh then went on to obtain a BA in law and society, philosophy from York University. After completing their undergraduate degree, they attended Balmoral and Mayfield for further studies.

They are on a team with Alessandra Ferreri - Content Acquisitions Lead, Wattpad Studios, Dexter Ong - Head of Southeast Asia, Wattpad Studios, and Caitlin O'Hanlon - Head of Talent Management, Wattpad Studios. Their manager is Aron Levitz, GM, Wattpad Studios.
