Ashley Martin

Ashley Martin is a media and tech executive with experience in sales, business operations and brand partnerships. Ashley is currently the Director of Sales & Business Operations at Wattpad.

Ashley began their career at Wattpad in 2015 as an Account Manager for Native Ads. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing successful ad campaigns for Wattpad's brand partners.

In 2017, Ashley was promoted to Senior Account Manager, Brand Solutions. In this role, they were tasked with discovering new and innovative ways for brands to reach Wattpad's massive audience of 80 million monthly users. Ashley was also responsible for ensuring that all benchmarks and success metrics were being met.

In 2019, Ashley was promoted again, this time to Business Operations Lead. In this role, they were responsible for leading Wattpad's business operations and overseeing the team's day-to-day activities.

In 2021, Ashley was promoted to their current role as Director of Sales & Business Operations. In this role, they are responsible for leading Wattpad's sales efforts and overseeing the company's business operations.

Ashley has a proven track record of combining their deep knowledge of the Wattpad product and our audience with an understanding of client needs to create innovative, successful partnerships with brands.

Ashley Martin has a diploma in advertising from Seneca College, and a degree in communication arts from the joint program of Seneca College and York University.

They are on a team with Dev Sharma - Country Manager, India, Muriel Rosilio - Director, Business Development, and Kiel Hume - Director, PR & Communications. Their manager is Mark Hadfield, COO.
